The Monitoring Board and the IFRS Foundation launched in 2010/2011 important consultations on most of the institutional arrangements of the accounting standard setters. FEE carefully considered these consultative documents and provided them with the views of the profession with a European perspective.
FEE believes that standards need to be set by a global standard setter who is both independent and accountable. It is in Europe’s best interest to continue its commitment to global standards.
