ESRS essentials: preparing sustainability reports

Will your organisation or members have to use the new European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) to prepare sustainability reports?

Accountancy Europe has developed online learning materials to facilitate and support ESRS learning. The materials contain (in English):

• educational videos, where the standards and the respective requirements are explained in detail (~ 6 hours)

• workbooks, to support an in depth-learning of each standard and ensure key concepts are retained via questions, tips and hints

The EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) brings many changes to sustainability reporting including the requirement on using ESRS. Sustainability, reporting and assurance professionals can leverage their existing skills but should also develop ESRS knowledge for all listed and large companies to prepare a sustainability statement and have it assured.

The 12 ESRS are a new and very challenging set of standards. They are complex, voluminous and include new many topics and concepts. These learning materials are suitable for professionals who want to learn about ESRS.
