IAASB technology quality management European roundtable

The International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) organises this event in Brussels with Accountancy Europe as co-host. Participation is by invitation only.

This roundtable will bring together senior leaders across the external reporting ecosystem—including audit firms, regulators, audit committee members, investors and other users, and academics.

We will explore:

• how emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence (AI), have the potential to transform audit and assurance engagements and shape the future of engagement quality
• how audit firms and assurance practitioners are applying the IAASB’s quality management standards—or other quality management frameworks—to integrate emerging technologies, such as AI, while maintaining engagement quality and serving the public interest.
