View on Google MapsReporting for environmental, social and governance (ESG) information has taken a major step forward with the publication of the European Directive 2014/95/EU on non-financial and diversity information. From the 1 January 2017, many companies have been facing the challenges of implementing ESG reporting for the first time, seeking the best ways to disclose information that is meaningful to their many stakeholders.
Accountancy Europe is holding a lunch event that will examine the practical challenges (and solutions) of effective ESG reporting. We will discuss recent developments, such as the publication of the European Commission’s non-binding guidelines on disclosure of non-financial information, how existing standards can be used to best effect and the practical experience of businesses that are already experienced in this field.
