On 5th March 2015, QED organised a discussion on Capital Markets Union. Olivier Boutellis-Taft, Federation of European Accountants CEO, spoke during the first panel on “Achieving long-term growth fro Europe”. The speakers discussed about the different roles played by different actors in channelling funds for longterm investments and they tried to answer to the following question “Is it possible to create a regulatory environment, which creates the best conditions for each player to fill this role and at the same time preserve a level playing field?”.
