The objective of the Round Table was to raise awareness of the challenges that SMEs currently face in gaining access to external finance in many EU Member States and to identify and discuss solutions. The debate was developed around these issues with the Round Table panel of speakers and the audience of invited experts. The Round Table was intended to create a forum for genuine dialogue between relevant stakeholders.
