Accountancy Europe is pleased to provide its feedback to the European Commission on the Better Regulation programme.
We recognise the efforts undertaken by the Commission under its Better Regulation initiative. Indeed, we find that the Commission’s impact assessments, stakeholder consultations, transparency of policy-making and engagement between regulators and civil society have improved significantly over the past few years.
In our consultation response, we point to remaining challenges as well as make recommendations for even further improving the policy making process. Accountancy Europe remains a committed partner of the EU institutions and stands ready to share its insight and ideas.
