We are delighted at the appointment of our Deputy CEO Hilde Blomme to the steering group of the EFRAG European Corporate Reporting Lab.
 

 
The European Lab is an initiative by EFRAG under the European Commission’s Action Plan on Financing Sustainable Growth. Its objective is to stimulate innovations in the field of corporate reporting in Europe by identifying and sharing good practice. It will initially focus on non-financial reporting, including sustainability reporting to serve the European public interest.

Accountancy Europe warmly welcomes the initiative. Indeed, the setting-up of a EU lab came out as an unanimous recommendation by all stakeholders to our event “Shaping the Future of Corporate Reporting” in September 2017.
